In the last four years, given that she loves to cook and illustrate, she decided to join her two passions. She has written and illustrated 5 recipe books for children, published by BOOMERANG ÉDITIONS JEUNESSE, Montreal.

With her second cookbook Des recettes en saveurs et en couleurs she win the price : GOURMAND WORLD COOKBOOKS AWARDS 2010 in category best recipes book for children for Canada-French.

She has also written and illustrated another recipe book for children, but somewhat different, under the title: Citron bleu et zeste de carotte published by LA COURTE ÉCHELLE, Montreal. This book gathers together recipes, animals, imaginary friends and some poetry.

Céline Malépart lives in Montreal, in her crooked three floor blue house, with her family, her gizmo, her orange kitchen and other comical colours, her tuques, her plastic dummies, her untidy and messy workshop, and with her three cats who talk all the time.
