Randy Pollak has built a rich portfolio of advertising and illustration in a variety of fields including editorial illustration, theatrical and television key art, and pharmaceutical advertising.
Born and raised in New York, Randy obtained a BFA in illustration from Parsons School of Design. He began his career in editorial illustration honing his traditional and digital skills as he developed his signature style.
His illustration work began appearing in New York’s Village Voice regularly, along with steady appearances in BusinessWeek, PC magazine, Business 2.0, Wealth Manager Magazine, Multi-Family Executive, Forbes, Builder Magazine, and many other prominent publications. Randy also spent some time teaching Photoshop at New York’s School of Visual Arts.
He then joined a NY boutique movie advertising agency where he created works for feature films and television. Later, at Mammoth Advertising as the Senior Art Director, he has expanded his repertoire into social media video and static work, always carrying through the core skills of design and illustration.
Randy has designed key art for of motion pictures and television for studios such as Warner Brothers, Miramax, The Weinstein Company, Universal, ThinkFilm, Lionsgate, Dimension, HBO, Nat Geo, VH1, FOX, and A&E. His illustrations continue to appear in publications and advertisements all over the country, from pharmaceutical ads to editorial illustrations.
He lives in Long Island with his wife, 2 kids and one very exuberant poodle.
