Illustrator and creative, Verónica Grech, lives and works in a small town in northern Spain nestled between mountains and deep blue ocean.
A graduate in art and design from San Carlos University in Valencia, Spain, she was a teacher before she decided to pursue illustration, her true vocation.
Grech enjoys creating colorful scenes, playful characters, lyrical portraits and quirky urban scenes. Her love of nature and landscape is evident in much of what she draws. She finds inspiration in cinema, fashion, travel, music, everyday people, poetry and emotion. Her clean, fresh, shape-based imagery features bold, flat color and graphic use of the page.
Her illustration has been published in newspapers and magazines worldwide. The Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Telegraph, The Boston Globe, Vogue, Ebony, Family Circle, Brigitte and easyJet magazine have all featured her work.
Advertising by Reebok, Desigual, Shopify, Ford, Pull & Bear, Unicef, Spectrum, NPR and Urban Outfitters have commissioned her illustration. Grech’s illustrations have been purchased by publishers Random House, Hachette Book Group, Mondadori and Zenith-Planeta.
Grech draws with traditional media like ink, markers and watercolor to spark her creativity. She works primarily in digital formats for her editorial and advertising clients.
