Ivan Bravo
Hi! I’m Iván Bravo. My journey began with comic books, leading me to graduate in graphic design, and ultimately discover my passion for illustration. Illustration allows me to be both expressive and conceptual, a perfect match for projects that need a dose of humor to communicate ideas effectively. I enjoy finding playful ways to convey complex concepts.
Over the years, I’ve worked across various mediums including editorial illustration, animation, murals, environmental graphics, art direction, and even live drawing. Some of my collaborations include clients such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, El País, Dictionary.com, Chronicle Books, Coca-Cola, Amazon, Nike, Casio, Barça Foundation, Gasol Foundation, MongoDB, University of Barcelona, Spanish Ministry of Consumer Affairs, CosmoCaixa, Banc Sabadell, and Moritz.
In addition to client work, I’ve shared my expertise through teaching. I’ve taught art direction in communication at Labasad, and illustration and design at Eina, Elisava, and Idep. I’ve also conducted numerous talks and workshops at design schools, festivals, and companies, always aiming to inspire creativity and innovation.
I live, work, and laugh in Barcelona, where I continue to explore the intersection of design, humor, and storytelling.
