Mari Fouz, based in Barcelona, is a versatile illustrator and graphic designer with a penchant for visual storytelling.

Transitioning from her role as an Art Director, Mari now channels her creativity exclusively into illustration, where she excels in conceptualization. Utilizing collage and ink, she crafts visual metaphors that captivate audiences across various domains of illustration. With an unwavering passion for drawing, Mari teaches an editorial illustration at two universities in Barcelona.

Mari’s illustrations were selected twice in American Illustration Award and the esteemed Laus Design Award.

Mari's artwork graces the pages of renowned publications including the New Yorker, Time, Washington Post, and The Economist, among others. Additionally, she has lent her artistic prowess to numerous book covers, posters, and institutional campaigns, leaving an indelible mark on each endeavor.

Outside her professional realm, Mari finds solace in the world of comics and the companionship of her feline friends.
