Born in 1982 in Ávila, Spain, Raquel Aparicio's journey as an illustrator began with childhood doodles that soon transcended notebook margins, evolving into a lifelong passion. She honed her craft through formal education at the School of Fine Arts in Valladolid and the prestigious Ringling School of Arts in Florida.

Following her graduation in 2006, Raquel delved eagerly into the professional realm, securing opportunities with esteemed clients such as Elle, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, Simon and Schuster, Anaya, and SM. Her illustrations captivated audiences across diverse platforms.

Beyond traditional illustration, Raquel delved into the realm of pattern design, mastering the art form through self-teaching. Collaborations with renowned brands like Inditex and Tous further showcased her ability to infuse artistry into everyday objects. Her work has left an indelible mark across the globe, from France and England to the USA, South Korea, Australia, Uruguay, and Portugal.

Raquel's talent has garnered widespread acclaim, with her pieces recognized in prestigious competitions including Communication Arts, American Illustration, Society of Illustrators 50, Illustration West 45, and Injuve 2009.
